The concept of paint has changed in my mind.
出来上がった背景ボードで撮影

作品の撮影に使う背景ボードを作るため、大阪に行ってきた。
大阪駅の乗り換えが難しいが、たこ焼きや551、おうどんが美味しいし、行き交う人の会話も面白いので大好きではある。

これまでも布や包装紙、製作に使っている傷まるけのボードとかいろいろ探して試してみたけど、ちょっと飽きた。
かといって、販売されているものでは私の作品が負ける。
自分で好きなように作れるといいよねぇ…と思って見つけたのが、大阪・住之江にあるChape Chapicさんの背景ボード作りの講座。
（背景ボードっていうものの存在を初めて知った…）

今回作ったのは錆を表現したボードと、同じ技法を使って自分の好きな色で表現したボード。
45cm×45cmなので塗りごたえあり。
（開始1時間でへたった…（爆））

水性塗料なので匂いもほとんどない。
（今回はタカラ塗料さんの塗料を使用。）
ドライヤーを当てればすぐに乾くし、スポンジでポンポンと塗っていくだけだったので簡単だった。
初めて作ったのにとっても素敵な仕上がりになってとても驚いた。
これは壁にかけて飾ってもいい。

I went to Osaka to make a background board for a photo shoot of my work.
Although it is difficult to change trains at Osaka station, I love it because the takoyaki, 551, and udon noodles are delicious and the conversations of people passing by are interesting.

I have tried to find cloth, wrapping paper, full of scratch boards used for production, and many other things, but I am a bit bored.
That said, my work loses out to what is sold.
It would be nice if I could make it the way I like it… I found a course on making background boards by Chape Chapic in Suminoe, Osaka.
(I had never heard of a background board before…)

The boards I made this time were one expressing rust and another using the same technique but in a color of my choice.
The board is 45cm x 45cm, so it’s a lot of fun to paint.
(The board was damaged within an hour of starting…)

Since it is water-based paint, there is almost no smell.
(In this case, we used Takara Paint’s paint.)
It dries quickly with a hairdryer and was easy to apply with a sponge.
I was very surprised at how nice it turned out for my first time.
I can hang it on the wall.
