「MINIATURE LIFE展」をみてきた。
ミニチュア写真家・田中達也さんが、日常のものを題材にして食品サンプルなどを使って見立てたミニチュア世界の写真作品と実物の展示。
2017年NHKの連続テレビ小説「ひよっこ」のタイトルバックも担当されていたそうなので、ご存知の方もいらっしゃるかも。

タイトルも作品も（オヤジ）ギャグ（風刺と言ったほうがいい？）になってて面白くて。
いいよね、こういう見た人を楽しい気分にする作品…と思って、帰りに思わず写真集を買ってしまった…

作品も一つ一つを楽しく拝見してたのだけど（お気に入りは「地球は甘かった」と「一泡吹かされ中」）、会場の出口に置いてあったメイキング画像も印象的だった。
淡々、黙々と作品作ったあとの撮影の時に、カメラのモニターを覗いて（思った以上の出来だったんだろうね）、にそっと笑う姿に「わかる〜」と内心で突っ込んだ。

I visited the “MINIATURE LIFE Exhibition”.
Miniature photographer Tatsuya Tanaka exhibited his photographic works and actual objects from his miniature world, which are based on everyday objects and made to look like food samples and other items.
Some of you may know him as he was also in charge of the title backdrop for NHK’s 2017 TV series “Hiyokko”.

Both the title and the artwork are a gag (or should I say satire?) and funny. It’s a (dad) gag (or should I say satire?), and it’s funny.
I thought to myself, “This is good, this kind of work that makes viewers feel happy…” and I went home and collected photos without thinking about it. I couldn’t help but buy a photo book on my way home…

I enjoyed looking at each of the works (my favorites were “The Earth was Sweet” and “A Blowout”), but I was also impressed by the making-of images that were placed at the exit of the venue.
I was impressed by the way he looked at the camera monitor during the photo shoot after he had quietly and nonchalantly created the work (it must have been better than he expected) and smiled softly, which made me think, “Me, too!”.
