これらは師匠に教えていただいて、私が作った思い出のリング。

左端は、銀盤を切り出して飾りたがねで模様をつけた後、溶接してリングにしたもの。
中央は、銀線を切って両端を溶かして玉にした後、いくつかを溶接してリングにしたもの。
右端は、シート状のパラフィン（蜜蝋ではない）を帯状に切って、熱したヘラで穴を開け、リング状にした蝋型を鋳造したもの。
どれも初心者用の簡単につくれるデザイン。
だけど、師匠の方針が「初心者用だからといって、センスの感じられないデザインのものは作らせたくない。
初めて作る思い入れのあるものだからデザインも仕上げも妥協してはいけない。」というものだったので、初心者が作った割にはとても素敵なものになっていると思う。
そういくことで、今でもよく身につけている。

These are memorable rings that I made after my master taught me how to make them.

The left is a silver plate that was cut out, patterned with a decorative metal, and then welded together to form a ring.
The center is a silver wire that was cut and melted at both ends to form a ball, then welded together to form a ring.
The right was made by cutting a sheet of paraffin (not Mitsurou) into strips, piercing holes with a hot spatula, and casting the wax mold into a ring shape.
All of these designs are easy to make for beginners.
However, the master’s policy was, “I don’t want you to make something with no sense of design just because it is for beginners.
It’s the first time for you to make something that are dear to your heart, so I don’t want you not to compromise on design and finish”.
So, I think it turned out very nice for a beginner.
I still wear it often in that way.
