Evolution of Folding Work Desks.

寒い時期は炬燵で蝋型の作製や事務作業をする事が多い。

我が家の炬燵はローテーブルなので、一度入ってしまうと物を取りに行く様な移動が面倒だったり（足も痺れるし）、疲れてくるとうっかり横になって寝てしまったりという事があって、それがちょっと不満ではあった。
けど、先日通販サイトを見ていたら、事務机などの足元用に使う、ヒーター付きのカバーを発見。
そこからヒントを得て、（ローテーブルではない）折りたたみ式の作業机に炬燵用のカバーを掛けてから中にミニヒーターを入れて、簡易の作業用お一人様炬燵を作ってみた。
これなら足も痺れないし、物を取りに行く様な移動も苦にならないし、うっかり横になって寝る事もない。
折りたたみ式の作業机で作っているから、出し入れも簡単。

During the cold season, I often use kotatsu to make wax models and do office work.

Since our kotatsu is a low table, once I get into it, it is troublesome to move around to get things (my legs get numb), and when I get tired, I sometimes accidentally fall asleep lying down, which has been a little frustrating.
But the other day, while browsing a mail order site, I found a cover with a heater for the feet of office desks and the like.
Taking a hint from there, I covered a folding work desk (not a low table) with a cover for a kotatsu and put a mini heater inside to make a simple one-person kotatsu for work.
This way, my legs don’t get numb, I don’t have to move around to get things, and I don’t accidentally fall asleep lying down.
It is made from a folding work desk, so it is easy to put in and out.
