That thing called a mash.
No.19-501「夢見の後先」

数年前に「つぶつぶしたものが生理的に受け付けない」人がいるという事を知って、作品につぶつぶを付けるのを控えようかと迷っていた時期がある。

が、結局のところ、つぶつぶを付けた作品の方がいいと思ったので付ける事にした。
（そして、私自身がつぶつぶしたものが好きだ）

つぶつぶを付けるの、実は意外と気を遣う。
付ける時の温度が高いと蜜蝋の引き目の間に流れちゃったり、つぶつぶ同士がくっ付いちゃって、どうにもならない事態を招くこともあり（泣）
かと言って、付ける時の温度が低いとちょっとの振動で取れちゃうので、それはそれで困る…

なんて扱いにくいやつなのか（爆）
でも、気がつくとものすごい集中力で付けているという…
（綺麗なのが綺麗に、しかも思い通りの位置に付くと達成感を感じるし）

と、もだもだしていたある時、「いっその事、思いっきりつけてみるか」と思ってこの画像のブローチ（ブローチ「夢見の後先」）が出来た。

つぶつぶダメな人ごめんなさい。

There was a time several years ago when I was wondering whether I should refrain from putting bumps on my works because I learned that there are people who “physiologically cannot accept bumpy things”.

But in the end, I decided to put them on my works because I thought they were better.
(And I myself like the bumpy ones.)

It is actually surprisingly tricky to put on the bumps.
If the temperature at the time of application is too high, they may flow between the beeswax lines, or the bumps may stick to each other, leading to an uncontrollable situation.
On the other hand, if the temperature is too low when attaching the wax, it will come off with the slightest vibration, and that’s a problem too…

What a difficult thing to handle!
But when I noticed that I was attaching it with great concentration…
(I feel a sense of accomplishment when a beautiful piece is attached neatly and in the exact position I want it to be.)

One day, when I was still struggling to make a brooch, I thought, “Let’s just go all out and put it on”, and the brooch in this image (brooch “Yumemi no Atosaki”) was born.

Sorry for those who don’t like bumps.
